Kamuhanga happy in Germany
A talent who played on the football fields of Namibia, Kamuhanga, is enjoying his stay in Germany.
Former African Stars and Brave Warriors player Eslin Kamuhanga says he is happy playing for the German club TSB Flensburg.
Founded in 1865, the club plays in the fifth- class Schleswig-Holstein league and has around 4300 registered members.
Speaking in exclusive interview from Germany Kamuhanga said: “I am enjoying myself at this club and I have no intentions of leaving.
“TSB Flensburg staff and players have welcomed me very well and that is why I continue playing good football. Sometimes I do miss home, but as a player one has to play in order to make a leaving out of the beautiful game,” Kamuhanga said.
The winger also revealed that he was saddened by the fact that the Namibia Premier League has not kicked-off this season.
“I do feel for the players that have not been playing at the moment, because most get their money from football. However, I do not want to touch on it too much because I am a professional and will not want to interfere in the affairs of the NFA and league,” Kamuhanga said.
Kamuhanga played for notable clubs like Black Africa, African Stars, Civics and Ramblers and has won the premier league with this clubs on various occasions.
He also played for the national team and the under-20 sides during his career. Known for his blistering speed and fierce left foot, Kamuhanga used to torment defenders and goalkeepers with his abilities. The 35-year-old did however also not state if his international career is over. “One may never know what can happen in the future because I am still active in the game. “However, I am not getting younger and that will prove to be difficult to ever play for the national team again.”
