Namibia’s Natanael ‘Natty’ Kakololo from Salute Boxing Academy lost his 10-round non-title fight against Andranik Grigoryan of Russia at the Dynamo Volleyball Arena in Moscow last week.
Kakololo said the fight was tough. This is the second time in a row that the Namibian has lost on foreign soil.
On 12 June Kakololo lost the vacant Inter-continental Featherweight title fight against Ukraine’s Oleg Malinovskyi. He was hoping to redeem himself against Grigoryan.
Despite the loss, the boxer thanked the local boxing fans who continue to support him.
“Thanks everyone who's behind me in good and bad time, this is the beginning of my journey,” said Kakololo.
