It’s comeback season for Jeiyo

MICHELLINE NAWATISES WALVIS BAY Musician Jeiyo - real name Julius Muteleni – has shared a taste of his forthcoming album with the single ‘As We Enter’.The three-minute summer single was produced last summer, but was delayed by production. He said the song, which dropped in December and is reminiscent of days spent poolside with a drink hand, is dedicated to every summer.Jeiyo discovered his love for music at a young age. “I create feel-good music. I want somebody to feel some type of way after they listen to my music, as I am not bound to a specific genre,” he said. Creative processWhile he considers himself a born artist, he shared that his creative process is dreadful. “This is strenuous and that’s what the fans don’t understand. I record, mix and master all my songs by myself.” The last time he released a song was four years ago and he is looking into getting a concrete blueprint for production process to allow everything to run smoothly.Currently working on an album that will drop later this year, Jeiyo said: “Some of the songs are already done and I’m sure that I will make more amazing sounds”. To his fans, the musician said he appreciates their patience. “I have nothing but good music for you guys; you deserve it as you have waited for so long.”‘As We Enter’ is available on YouTube and all digital platforms.
