SA tries to steal Behati pssst! has observed for a while now how the international media, including some South African publications, claim that Behati Prinsloo is from that country. This is disturbing, considering that everyone is supposed to know that she is a born and bred Namibian. Yes, the Victoria’s Secret model was born and raised in Grootfontein. She was scouted in South Africa, while on holiday in Cape Town. So far she has modelled for Chanel and Prada and has even been on the cover of Vogue. She is a proud Namibian diamond and we have every intention of holding onto her. So to South Africa we say: Behati is our girl and our girl only. Maria finds solace in Ghana The Big Brother Africa Fan Club this week revealed photos of Maria Nepembe on set in Ghana, where she is hosting a talk show. The reality television star has had a bittersweet career in Namibia and pssst! is glad to see that she has comfort in the Ghanaian broadcasting industry. First the former video vixen hosted the NAMAs and was widely roasted for her performance. Later, she was also accused of being rude on her radio show at Fresh Fm. She didn’t last long on BBA this season and was quickly evicted. It could not have been easy for her to see her bestie Dillish Mathews scooping the cash at BBA, when she emerged as the winner. But Maria has always found a way to bounce back and rise again. Ghana might not be Mzansi or Nollywood, but we are still happy for our girl. Hot Goss It seems our local artists want to complain about anything and everything. Their behaviour was no different at a NAMAs information session the other day, when some artists complained about the most petty of things. One artist wanted to know why entry forms are only in English, claiming that some of them can’t read, understand or write in that language. The artist concerned actually made his complaint in English. Another singer wanted to know what the criteria are for choosing those to perform at the awards ceremony. And then, our favourite radio personality Princess M decided to appoint herself as the spokesperson for every artist in attendance. pssst! thinks our artists need to chill and stop being so nervous. She is anyway available to fill in the entry forms of those who are unable to read and write English. Linda’s double entry smacks of greediness We love Linda, we really do, but we honestly feel her double entry in The Last Band Standing competition smacks of greediness. The singer will be competing alone with her band, as well as with her sisters in a group known as Sim Sisters. While the rules allow for this, we are still puzzled as to why an established artist insists on having a back-up plan in the competition. Entering with her sisters seems like her Plan B, if her solo performance bombs. Our young singer was, however, dealt a huge blow when Famaz Attack was drawn to perform on the same evening as her solo performance. This means she will have to go against one of the most respected local rocks bands, who are experienced at performing live. Anyway, pssst! wishes them all luck. O.J Simpson may be Khloe Kardashian's father Norman Pardo, the former manager of O.J Simpson, has reignited speculation that the disgraced football star could be Khloe Kardashian’s biological father. Pardo suggested that O.J shared a ''close'' relationship with Kris Jenner throughout her marriage to late ex-husband Robert Kardashian. He told In Touch Weekly magazine: ''It's all going to come out sooner or later. Khloe could be O.J.'s kid.” It’s suggested Kris who admitted to an affair during her first marriage - struck up a ''close'' bond with O.J long before Robert, successfully defended the star in the 1995 trial into the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown. Pardo said the couple even used to join the Kardashians on holiday prior to Nicole’s death. Norman continued: ''They all took their vacations together. There was a lot of partying going on back then. Kris cheated on Robert. She was known for having a good time.'' Both Kris and Khloe have refuted claims that she was not biologically fathered by Robert. Kris admitted to having an affair with a man under the pseudonym of ''Ryan'' in her memoir last year, and while Hollywood manager Todd Waterman stepped forward to reveal his identity, she has denied rumours of an affair with O.J.
