Is Lady May still a singer? Like many others, pssst! has been wondering lately whether Lady May is still a singer. In the past, Lady May brought us hit after hit, including Chockola and Come and Get Me. She even reached continental fame with a Channel O Africa Music Video Award. Here back home she also won a number of awards, although her career was overshadowed a bit by her infamous “Goodnight” greeting at the NAMAs. Anyway, in recent times Lady May has been seen interviewing other celebrities on red carpets. It would be a shame if the singer goes from a top musician to a small-time television presenter. The last time the singer was seen performing live was at last year’s NAMAs. Anyway, pssst! really hopes Lady May gets her act together and heads to a recording studio. We’ve had enough of Lady May the TV presenter and we miss Lady May the crazy performer. Hot Goss What is it with our Big Brother Africa former stars not realising that once your season is over we all move on to someone else. Anyway, Windhoek’s gossipers have it that one former Big Brother Africa star was recently speaking to a group at a popular hangout spot and refused to believe that no one at the table knew him. “He was talking to the girls and asked for their names. When they told him, they asked for his name and he asked them whether they live under a rock for not knowing him,” the gossiper said. Shamefully, the young man apparently walked away, accusing the girls of mocking him. Ha-ah, when did not knowing someone become mocking? Unless you are Trey Songz, don’t expect every girl to know you when you walk into a room, my brother. Iggy Azalea: I've been 'annoying' Britney Spears Iggy Azalea admits she's been 'annoying' Britney Spears with ideas for the music video for their collaborative single 'Pretty Girls', which will feature on Britney's upcoming album. The 'Fancy' hitmaker collaborated with the 33-year-old star on a track named 'Pretty Girls' which will feature on Britney's new album and Iggy has confessed she's been bombarding her with ideas for the clip. Speaking about working with the 'Piece of Me' singer, she shared: 'She's super nice. She came to my house and had lunch and I didn't know what to expect, and we actually really get along. 'I've been texting her, annoying her with all my ideas for the video and she's been a really good sport about it, so I'm really excited.' The 24-year-old rapper previously claimed 'Pretty Girls' would be the first single off her new album as Britney didn't think her new record would be ready in time but she's since been back in touch to ask for it back. Iggy explained to MTV News: 'It was such a journey, that song. I got asked and it was her song, and then she didn't think she would have her album done in time, and then I rewrote parts of it and it became my song, and I tried to make it all mine and keep it. 'Then she said, 'No, no, I am going to take it, my album is ready'. And so I swung it back her way because she's Britney Spears, you have to do that. She gets whatever she wants.' Iggy also spoke about the sound of their collaboration, claiming it evolved into a 'cool' 'powerhouse' duet. She added: 'It's kind of really evolved into something that I was just featured on originally, into really a true duet, where I'm on the chorus with her. We go back and forth, she has her verses and I have my verse, but it's not just me kind of popping in it. It really is a duet. And I love that. I love a good pop duet where it's equally powerhouse. Cool Jamie Foxx criticised by LGBT group for Bruce Jenner jibes Actor-singer Jamie Foxx came under fire on Monday from LGBT-youth group The Trevor Project for "insensitive comments" he made at an awards show about reality star Bruce Jenner and reports of his decision to transition to a woman. At Sunday's iHeartRadio awards show, televised on NBC, host Foxx joked twice about the transition by Jenner, an Olympic gold medallist and patriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family on reality TV. "Bruce Jenner will be here doing some musical performances. He's doing a his-and-her duet all by himself," Foxx quipped on stage. "Look, I'm just busting your balls - while I still can," he added in his opening monologue with a large photo of Jenner on a screen behind him. The Trevor Project, which provides support and counselling for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, said "insensitive comments made in the media only exacerbate the problem," in response to Foxx's jokes. "Given all the struggles that LBGTQ youth face on a daily basis, comments like these don't help to promote an atmosphere of tolerance and understanding," the organisation said in a statement on Monday. Representatives for Foxx and Jenner declined to comment. Jenner, 65, has not publicly discussed his transition into a woman but has told his family, according to media reports. He has reportedly agreed to an interview with TV personality Diane Sawyer on ABC to discuss his transition.
