Etemba – Phatboy Lutor

Lifted from his debut album ‘Koning’, rapper Phatboy Lutor recently gave new life to ‘Etemba’ with visuals shot by Spectrum Media. The video released on Saturday, 1 January is shot in black and white like the rest of his music videos, maintaining his aesthetics. The video is available on YouTube and the song on all major streaming platforms.

I Know - IAN LOVLY ft Direfox and Waters

This song stands out for its amazing vocals. Everyone featured on the song delivered to the best of their abilities. This is definitely a trio we did not know Namibia needed. The video was released on Wednesday, 5 January on YouTube. Shot by Reggie Films, the video keeps gaining momentum online and because it is too soon to tell, we are not sure if this particular video is a game-changer, but it is definitely worth watching. You might even end up repeating it just so you can analyse some of the impressive cinematic shots by Reggie Films. I hope Namibians do not sleep on this song, because it is amazing!

You and I – Dee’A ft DJ Kboz

Gospel musician Dee’A is one of the artists who has been consistently feeding his fan base. On ‘You and I’ he worked with renowned music producer DJ Kboz who of course didn’t dot disappoint. Dedicated to his wife, the love song came at the right time seeing that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Before going to print the video had garnered 1 400 views on YouTube.

It Ain’t Easy – Donkingpope Premium ft DBee, Hani V$OP and Kenny K

Premiered on YouTube on Tuesday, 4 January ‘It Ain’t Easy’ is a rap song for a younger audience. It is also worth noting that the music video pays tribute to the late Namibian hip-hop pioneer Kanibal.
