FNB relocates Maerua branch
FNB Namibia this week completed the relocation of its Maerua Mall branch in Windhoek.
The first commercial bank to take up its position in the mall’s new banking hall, staff and management commemorated the development at a launch event this week.
“We believe that we need to continuously up our game in order to remain the bank of choice, and to stay at the forefront and ahead of our competitors,†FNB Namibia CEO Ian Leyenaar said of the move. The new branch is located on the top floor of mall, having moved from the ground floor entrance, and is said to be more spacious, as well as accommodating more staff.
The new branch also expands on FNB’s new branding initiative, creating special areas called, welcome, sales, service, support and relationship zones, where customers can do their transactional banking.
Leyenaar thanked FNB customers for their continuous support for the lender, as well as staff for their contribution to the company’s success. “You might know that in July this year we launched a customer service charter through which customer service at FNB has become an even greater priority and focus area than ever before.
We firmly believe in the
customer’s needs and the fulfillment of these needs should be at the centre of what we do.â€
“Whilst we do acknowledge that we drop the ball now and again, we are committed to ensuring continuous improvement,†Leyenaar said.
