Fashion expressions at Windhoek Fashion Week

Another successful edition of the Windhoek Fashion Week was held recently.

The recently concluded Windhoek Fashion Week staged runway shows and exhibition shows by Namibian designers and beyond.

This year's instalment saw sophisticated designs by 30 designers from Namibia's leading fashion brands, six international designers and four retailers.

The annual event incorporates catwalk presentations of new trends, as well as fashion talks that give fashion and creative businesses the opportunity to access a new market to exhibit their collections and contemporary lifestyle products for trade.

The annual celebration of Namibia's fashion and creative business industry is set to epitomise the fashion business scene with activities that give a voice to and celebrate Namibian and international creative business practitioners. tjil attended the weeklong event and here are some photos from the shows…
