Police are seeking the public’s help to track down a man arrested for breaking and entering, who escaped from police custody on Friday.

According to Erongo police spokesman Erastus Iikuyu, Jimmy Links was arrested two days earlier after a break-in in Kuisebmond. After the arrest, he was taken to a local hospital.

While there, Links asked to use the toilet. The police officer guarding him removed his handcuffs.

“He climbed out of the bathroom window and disappeared,” Iikuyu sa
