Deposit-free home loans offered at Bank Windhoek

Bank Windhoek on Monday announced a new scheme to make house buying easier for first-time owners with a zero-deposit home loan.The new product provides 100% financing for home loans between N$500 000 and N$1,5 million.In order to qualify, would-be home owners must be existing or new Bank Windhoek clients with their primary bank account at the bank.The property they want to borrow money for must be their primary residence, and their ability to afford repayment would also be taken into account.&ldquo;Bank Windhoek has been in the business of financing property for over 30 years and understands that first-time home loan applicants do not always have the required deposit to make a big investment, such as a house,&rdquo; said the manager of Bank Windhoek's Property Finance Branch, Job Mouton.&ldquo;The 100% financing option will therefore make it easier for first-time home loan applicants to buy their first house and enter the property market as an owner,&rdquo; he said.He invited interested parties to get in contact with the bank for specific advice regarding the new scheme.&ldquo;Bank Windhoek's property consultants are available to advise clients on the best financing options to help first-time home buyers own their ideal home without it becoming a financial burden on them and their families,&rdquo; he said.WINDHOEK STAFF REPORTER
