Unbeaten World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa featherweight boxer Sakaria 'Desert Storm' Lukas is expected to step into the ring next month, but his opponent will only be announced tomorrow, his team has said.

Lukas last fought in May when he knocked out Zimbabwe's Ndodana Ncube in the eighth round of their bout. Since then fans have been waiting patiently to see the boxer in action again. In September his team announced that he will challenge for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Africa title in the Rising Stars boxing tournament against South Africa's Jeff '911' Magagane. Both fighters had the chance to fight in the United States, if they emerged victorious, but the fight didn't take place. Yesterday Lukas' team said they will announce his opponent for next month's thriller tomorrow. The fight is expected to pull a large crowd of boxing lovers.

Lukas, who started his boxing professional career in 2011, when he defeated Costa Nelo Frans via unanimous decision, has an unblemished record and is looking to further climb the ladder of success.

He has been in the gym since his last fight and is craving for some ring action. The Namibian, who was formerly signed to MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing Academy, is now being trained by coach Immanuel 'Imms' Moses from the AC Boxing Gym. He is managed by the Global Boxing Stars (GBS) team of Scott Patrick Farrell, which is co-managed by Moses. Lukas signed with the GBS team in May this year. He is undefeated after 22 fights and has so far knocked out 15 opponents.

There will be eight undercard fights on the night, with the likes of Max 'Kwaludhi Boy' Ipinge, Matias Hamunyela, Marten Mukungu, Alfeus 'Mosquito' Shaanika, upcoming youngster Flame 'Special One' Nangolo and Tomas Ndeitunga facing opponents who are also yet to be announced.
