Debmarine Cup fixtures ready
It's all systems go for the 2017 Debmarine Namibia Cup's last 16 clashes as the organisers released the running order for the two venues in Mariental and Kuisebmond on 17 June.
The Namibia Football Association yesterday announced the times and match orders for the two venues for games which will be played on 17 June.
The last 16 clubs in the Debmarine Cup are aware of who they will face in the round and are preparing their game plans accordingly.
In Walvis Bay action will start at 09:00 between Touch & Go and Rundu Chiefs, followed by Tura Magic against Gendev at 11:00. Try Again and Eleven Arrows will battle it out at 13:00 and at 15:00 Unam FC and Mighty Gunners will go head to head at the Kuisebmond Stadium.
At Mariental, the sport stadium will have its first match at 11:00 with Outjo FC and Eastern Chiefs facing it off for a place in the quarterfinals. At 13:00, Civics and Young Beauties will meet and two hours later Young African and Bee Bob Brothers will take to the field for their battle.
The final match of the round and of the day will be at 17:00 as Young African and Life Fighters clash at the Mariental Sports Stadium.
Tickets are N$30 at Computicket and Checkers outlets countrywide. Each match will carry a Man of the Match award worth N$1 000 in Round 16 and that amount increases to N$1 500 in the quarterfinals; N$2 000 in the semi-finals and N$5 000 in the final match.
In addition to this, the Man of the Match will have to select a charity of his choice that will receive an equivalent amount.
The last 16 clubs in the Debmarine Namibia Cup will receive an increased amount of N$20 000 to prepare for the matches, the same amount all the way to the semi-finals, while the two finalists will each get N$30 000 to help prepare for the title-deciding match on 25 November.
