The lack of subject and content knowledge by parents, caregivers and guardians are a huge stumbling block in the continuation of teaching and learning in the Zambezi region. According to the region's director of education Joy Mamili-Mbangu the region has 25 urban and 85 rural schools. The director of education for the //Kharas region, /Awebahe Johannes //Hoeseb says the academic year is not lost and teaching and learning will continue albeit in ways not part of the norm. //Hoeseb says most of the schools in the region has access to e-learning, while hard copies are distributed to learners who don't have access to laptops or cellphones. The Namibian Police Force in the Erongo Region has warned the public against the production and use of facemasks made from the same fabric as that used to make the Namibian Special Field Force uniforms. A person could be charged for impersonating a police officer as constituted in the Police Act 19 or 1990. The Act states that any person found guilty of this offence is liable for conviction to a fine not exceeding N$4 000 or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 12 months or both.
