The super group released their new single 'Let's Go' featuring NAMAs winners Maszanga, last week. The whole concept was tailormade to suit Namibians, create awareness of local culture and take pride in local arts.
“We want to do this in the most memorable way for our fans and it is a way for us to engage with them too. Twenty years is amazing and our fans have been amazing. What better way to say thank you than a giveaway,” said group member Mr Makoya.
The 'Hallo My Baby' singers say they opted for this particular challenge because it is a trending activity all over the world. The challenge is for the month of September only. Participants can download the song for free from Donluafrica.com and soundcloud.com. They must then post videos of themselves, colleagues or family members dancing to the new song and post this online. The video with the most exciting moves and views gets to win the weekend away to any of the NWR resorts countrywide.
“We tend to follow what our neighbouring countries or even American artists do, so why not create something that is our own and reward our people for their efforts?
