Due to the extreme cold weather experienced in Windhoek especially at night. Windhoek Motor Club (WMC) opted to have a day. At had been the first day event held in years and although the entries didn’t tally up as well as expected, WMC rated the event as a success taking in consideration other concurrent motorsport activities which took place on the weekend.The highlights of the day were definitely the return of some well-known legends, De Waal Theunissen, Geh Visagie and Ahmed Hassan. Deon Decora says “it was great to have them back on the track with awesome entertainment”. WMC once again presented some cash prices and trophies for fastest times in the different categories.Fastest Open class - Richard Slamet 12.49 sec (Pulsar), Fastest Normal Aspirated - Gerhard Visagie 13.02 sec (Roach) , Fastest Bike - Mcallan Husselmann 10.39, Fastest Quad - Michael Heath 14,8 Other times, De Waal 12.89 (Levien), Ahmed 13.29 (Subaru), Deon 13.59, Frankie 13.9 (Golf MK1), Henver Rhodes 14.55 (Lumina), Ian 15.6 (Sentra), Horrace 15.56 (Golf MK 3).GARWIN BEUKES
