Auas Valley upgrades near completion
The upgrading of the Auas Valley Shopping Centre in Windhoek is progressing well and it is expected to be completed at the end of September.
Agra said in a media statement that two retailers, the Auas Vet Med and the Auas Valley Pharmacy have already moved into their new stores, while most businesses in the mall will get beneficial occupation in August in order to be ready for the opening.
Both levels of the under-roof parking are completed and the outdoor parking on the southern side of the building is in the process of being completed, making about 1 000 parking bays available.
Agra customers will have access to the lower parking by means of a ramp for trolleys, while it will also be more convenient for customers buying bulk and fodder to use the parking space in the yard of the Agra branch from the end of Bessemer Street.
Besides ample parking space, the shopping destination will provide a spacious and tranquil environment on two floors with the following businesses on the top floor: Nictus store, Looks Hair Design, Dr Viljoen’s consulting rooms, the Bugatti Restaurant, Insight Optometrist, Auas Vet Med and Auas Valley Pharmacy.
The top floor will now house the double-storey Safari Den.
The ground floor will have the Agra branch, Safari Den, Bank Windhoek, the Happy Shop, S & A Cellular, Fresh ‘n Wild restaurant, the Sushi Bar, Pep Home, La Mareez Ladies Accessories, Silverberry Jewellery and Beauty, Crazy Balloon Decor, Geek Boutique, Colours Fashion, Cash King, ATMs of major banks and a car wash.
Pick n Pay, one of the key tenants in the mall is also in the process of upgrading their Auas Valley store, confirming their constant strive for excellence and offering a world-class shopping experience and customer service.
The new Pick n Pay Auas Valley store will have a coffee shop where clients can enjoy a delicious meal after shopping, or meet friends for a cup of coffee before stocking up on groceries. The deli and butchery, bakery and hot food sections are also receiving a complete makeover to offer the highest quality. The layout, spacious corridors, new cold storage and modern look in the store are but a few reasons while Pick ‘n Pay Auas Valley will become the preferred supermarket.
