Archers to compete in Walvis Bay

The Walvis Bay Private High School will host its first NASP archery championship on Saturday.

Archers will compete individually and as teams.

Schools like Windhoek Gymnasium, Home School Carpe Diem, SKW Development, Bright Start Montessori, Elnatan Stampriet, Berg-op Akademie, Gobabis Gymnasium, Koës Private School, Community Hope School and St Paul''s College are represented.

“We are looking forward to welcoming 118 archers in total,” said NASP secretary-general Karola Woortman.

The competition will start at 07:00 and finish around 17:00.

A tuck shop and the clubhouse will be open for the whole day selling snacks, food and drinks.

A lot of interesting products (clothes, jewellery, gifts, toys, games) will also be available at the different stalls in the tent and clubhouse.

A number of sponsors have come on board to make the event a reality.
