Alleged son killer, girlfriend assaulter denied bail
According to a police report, Mushongo allegedly killed his son by hitting the child on the head with a wooden stick, and then used the same weapon to injure the victim's mother, who is currently in the Nyangana hospital.

After allegedly killing his two-year-old son and assaulting his girlfriend at the Ncorosha village in the Ndiyona constituency, a 36-year-old suspect was denied bail at the Rundu Magistrate's Court on Monday.
The suspect, Mudumbi Mushongo, appeared before Magistrate Sonia Samupofu, who denied him bail. The matter was postponed to 3 February 2021 for further police investigations.
Hilliard Munzenze was the state prosecutor.
According to a police report, Mushongo allegedly killed his son, Shipeku Mushongo, by hitting the child on the head with a wooden stick, and then used the same weapon to injure the victim's mother, Muronga Shihako (25), who is currently admitted at the Nyangana hospital.
The suspect was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder read with the domestic violence act.
