About 150 sheep stolen at farms near Aroab

The police at Aroab in the ||Karas Region are investigating a case of stock theft after about 150 sheep were allegedly stolen from two farms in the area.
The acting crime investigations coordinator for ||Karas, Chief Inspector Douglas Hanse, told Nampa on Sunday that the sheep were stolen from Klipdam and Kotzetal Unit 2 in the Aroab district between March and 9 June 2021.
Hanse said the stolen Dorper and Damara mix-breed sheep are valued at N$225 000.
“The suspects in this case are not known, no arrest has been made yet and no sheep have been recovered and police investigation continues,” added Hanse.
