Abbabis to host round five of Enduro series

Round five of the Bank Windhoek Namibia National Enduro Championship will take place this Saturday at Farm Abbabis in the Karibib district, approximately 145 km from Windhoek. The event is sponsored by Lifestyle Pharmacy and Multitrusses. The fifth round promises to be the highlight of the series as riders tackle the challenging course which includes sandy riverbeds, rocky hills and fast passages. National classes will have to complete four laps of the route, while the ladies’ quads and support classes seven and eight will complete three laps. Classes nine and 10 will race two laps and the newly established development class – for riders up to 14 years - will complete two laps of 20 km each. Registration for all Windhoek riders will take place on Thursday from 17:30 to 18:30 at Pupkewitz Honda. Saturday’s racing will start at 07:00 with documentation and technical control, with the first bike off the line at 09:30. The public is invited to attend this exciting event at the viewpoint close to the pit area.
