Indongo, Moses dump Sunshine
Namibia's former triple world champion Julius 'Blue Machine' Indongo and well-known trainer Imms Moses have left the MTC Nestor Sunshine Boxing and Fitness Academy. Moses confirmed to Namibian Sun this morning that they have decided to part away because of differences with the academy’s owner and renowned boxing promoter Nestor Tobias. “I have left the academy, so has Indongo. Boxers are not happy. They are asking who will train them as he (Tobias) is not a trainer. Some of the boxers at their level cannot be trained by anyone. I don’t know how he will survive,” said Moses who has been Tobias’ right hand man for a very long time. Despite confirmation from Moses, a cagey Tobias maintained that both Indongo and Moses were still part of his stable. He has refused to comment further. New Era reported today that the fallout was a result of money owed to Indongo from his mega fight in Scotland where he dethroned Ricky Burns to win the super lightweight unification bout.
