The Bank of Namibia has approached the High Court seeking the winding down of the troubled SME Bank. “While the bank of Namibia is aware of the anxiety these actions may cause to employees, depositors, creditors, and other interested parties alike, it nevertheless calls for calm during this period and urges all stakeholders to cooperate fully and exercise the necessary patience,” the central bank stated in a statement a while ago.
