Ready to tackle a new role at Sanlam
Motivated and driven to achieve her career goals
Nitacha Klazen has worked at Sanlam for 12 years and is now taking on her next adventure at the company in her new job as an administrator for the high performance centre.
Nitacha Klazen, who hails from Rehoboth, has worked at Sanlam for 12 years and is currently pursuing a new role as the administrator for the high performance centre (HPC).
Her job involves many administration duties, including capturing new business and issuing policies.
As much as she enjoys her duties, there are challenges.
Her biggest challenge to date has been adapting to her new position in the HPC department.
A typical day at the office for Klazen starts with a cup of coffee, followed by planning and prioritising her tasks for the day.
Inspired by her family, she is always encouraged to strive for improvement and achieve her goals.
The phrase from her children, “Mammie, try net, jy is tops”, boosts her confidence.
Persevere
Klazen has learned valuable career lessons during her time at Sanlam.
“Never give up, no matter how many times life knocks you down. Always be better and always stay positive,” she said.
For now, Klazen is focused on becoming a great administrator.
After fulfilling her duties at Sanlam and in her career, she looks forward toretiringe andtravellingl the world.
She recalls her high school years as the best phase of her life. “I had the best teachers who were very helpful. Although rules were strict, we walked to school without any fears to attend school dances,” she said.
