TLM Training Consultants (TLM) is a privately-owned business founded in 2012 by two Namibian friends who had a common dream of equipping others. TLM provides tailor-made training and motivational speeches for various target groups. They officially expanded into life and business coaching in 2021.Founder and owner Terttu Uuyuni holds an MBA from the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, a B Com degree from the University of Namibia, and an associate diploma in credit from the Institute of Bankers of Namibia and South Africa. She also completed a management development programme at the University of Stellenbosch Business School. Uuyuni has also been well-trained in leadership, corporate governance, risk management and oversight. “I run the operations of TLM and therefore do 90% of the work. I am the lead trainer, motivational teacher and the life and business coach,” she said. Other important roles for her are being a wife and a mother.TLM helps its clients develop winning habits such as reading to learn and grow; exercising and eating healthy so they enjoy optimal health and wellness; and waking up early to improve their productivity levels. TLM also helps clients break bad habits like procrastination. Additionally, the company prepares clients for job interviews. Former clients have testified how relaxed and calm they become during interviews when they apply the techniques taught during TLM’s coaching sessions.Importance of coachingTLM believes every person needs some support, especially if they have the desire to achieve anything significant in their lives. These desires can vary from becoming a better parent, a more effective leader or even healthier. Seeing that everyone has struggles, TLM offers support and helps those who wish for a breakthrough. “One can be vulnerable with the coach once a trust relationship is built,” Uuyuni said.
