Young Entrepreneurs Making an Effort (Yeme) is a marketing team that provides modern, appealing and creative ways of promoting and marketing products to consumers. Most of their services are digital and web-based. Founded by Tebogo Marodi, who has an honours degree in marketing management, and Haitange Neliwa, who has a bachelor’s degree in informatics and experience in the information technology industry. The business employs five staff members in sales and marketing as well as in the design and technical department and is located in Wanaheda. Yeme was established in 2009, with the aim to develop ideas and deliver them with integrity. “We are committed to simplifying intricacies, designing with purpose and inspiring audiences so as to reinvigorate companies, businesses, brands, culture, products and market presences,” Helena Andreas, an employee at Yeme, said.They strive to innovate and deliver digital marketing solutions that take into cognisance the changing market landscape of clients. They also ensure to deliver the optimal and affordable digital marketing and advertising services to both public and private sectors. “Our goal is to be the leading powerhouse in digital marketing solutions countrywide,” she said.Yeme creates advertising products using state-of-the-art technologies. The company focuses on creating innovative animations and cartoons that are best for explainer videos of the nature of the businesses, graphic designs which mainly consists of company logos, posters, flyers and social media management, and more. “Being young entrepreneurs, we recognise the high unemployment rate in the country,” Andreas said. One of the company’s biggest challenges is capital, financial constraints and finding the right team members. As a result of Covid-19, most of their target markets are SME owners and they are equally affected by the pandemic. Their accomplishments thus far include welcoming new talents to the team, which they highly take pride in, and working with amazing brands like Mekenificient, and Khanoni Leisure Park, and artists like Exit. Every other day-to-day achievement is the services they are able to offer their clients.
