Economy mode is ideal for relaxed, long-distance driving and is the most fuel-efficient option. Normal mode provides balanced performance for everyday use, while Sport mode unleashes the full capability of the 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine.As Namibia’s vehicle market continues to grow, models like the P300 reflect changing consumer expectations. Today’s drivers want more than just a powerful engine – they also prioritise safety, comfort and long-term value.The P300 places strong emphasis on safety, featuring blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, emergency braking and parking sensors. Its Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) prevents the wheels from locking during sudden braking, helping drivers maintain steering control and reduce skidding. This demonstrates that drivers no longer need to choose between power, safety and value, since the P300 offers all three without breaking the bank.Growing presenceSince the introduction of its bakkies in Southern Africa in 2007, Great Wall Motors (GWM) has steadily grown its presence in Namibia. The brand has expanded its range from bakkies to include the Haval SUV line-up and Tank models.“GWM has been in Namibia for a while now. It has been tried and tested, and people have grown to love it,” Shithigona said.In July 2025, Pupkewitz GWM, the official distributor of the brand, ranked third nationally in total vehicle sales. With branches in Windhoek, Otjiwarongo, Swakopmund and Oshakati, the brand continues to strengthen its footprint across the country.The P300 comes with a seven-year standard warranty and a seven-year service plan, with scheduled service intervals every 15 000 km.
