It is better that they focus on making public transport better and more efficient. Additionally, government should focus on making cycling lanes much better than what they are now as cyclists can get easily injured from that. They should drive people away from the roads by creating subway systems that will actually be more effective. They could also adopt the tram system that is currently used in Switzerland. Mumbai Tuzembeho The government should increase speed humps to slow drivers down when they are speeding. I believe these should also be placed on highways for more effectiveness. Additionally, increasing the number of serious road blocks will create a trend for drivers to start obeying traffic laws. Jamie-Lee LossI truly feel that government has created awareness and we need to meet them halfway as road users because they can only do so much. Drivers should not drink and drive and should get off the road and rest when feeling tired. Make sure to be safe when you are on the roads. Faith Hawaes Government cannot really do much. We, as the constant road users, should do our part to remain safe on the roads. The government has given us the necessary precautionary measures that must be taken and how to remain safe on the road, it is just up to us as citizens to abide. Eponga Stofy I believe the government should increase the size of the highways, that way there will be more space on roads when travelling between regions. Additionally, it is important to distinguish the lanes and create a very obvious distinction in order to avoid head-on collisions.
