NAPSO-atletiek: As ons gaan, gaan ons GROOT!

Wat ‘n suksesvolle naweek hier by Gobabis Gymnasium met goeie kompetisie, baie talent en die belangrikste - tonne pret!

Op 17 en 18 Februarie het Gobabis Gymnasium vir die eerste keer die atletiekbyeenkoms vir die Suide- en Sentraalstreek aangebied.

Afgesien van al die rekords wat gespat het en die uitstekende atletiek wat toeskouers kon geniet, het Gobabis se ouers en gemeenskap opnuut bewys hoe lekker ons kan saamwerk. Selfs ons leerlinge het van die Woensdag af al die baan reggekry, tente opgeslaan, stoele aangedra en ons graadeens het sommer hulle skêrgreep geoefen deur ons grasperke se randjies te sny.

Tydens ‘n beampte-pouse het ons leerlinge ook sommer vir die ander skole gewys ons kan nie net hardloop en spring nie, maar ons is ook die skool in Namibië met die beste danspassies.

Ons atlete het uitstekend gevaar en ons het ‘n hele klomp algehele podiumplekke verwerf tydens die prysuitdeling. Ons is seker ons atletiekkliniek aan die begin van die jaar het vrugte afgewerp.

Die komplimente stroom steeds uit alle oorde in.
