Windhoek Draught conquers Namibia's taste buds (again)
Windhoek Draught has been named Namibia’s Most Admired Beverage Brand. This follows the recent Brand Africa Awards, held to celebrate Namibia’s most popular brands.
The recognition is based on an independent study conducted across 31 countries by Brand Africa.
In addition to this honour, WindhoekTM received the Brand Africa Special Recognition Award for Heritage and Homegrown Excellence, a powerful endorsement of our legacy, authenticity, and deep-rooted connection with Namibia and its people.
“As much as these accolades are a celebration of the people behind the brand, past and present who have poured their passion and purpose into making WindhoekTM the 100% Real Beer brand it is , it is also a reflection and appreciation of quality and Namibian pride”, said Dries van der Sandt, marketing manager at Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL).
The recognition was a testament to the loyalty of NBL’s customers, and a celebration of Namibia, van der Sandt said.
“We are deeply grateful to our customers and consumers for their trust and loyalty. This recognition reaffirms our commitment to building brands that not only resonate with Namibians but also reflect the values we hold dear; integrity, craftmanship, and responsibility. It's a celebration of local excellence, authenticity, and the ensuing love for
homegrown success,” van der Sandt said.
For his part, NBL MD, Waldemar von Lieres said the award was a consequence of the positive impact NBL is making in the life of Namibians.
“Our success is not just measured in awards, but in the positive impact we make in the lives of Namibians. We are proud to be a company that brews with purpose,
offering quality, choice, and a brand that Namibians know, trust, and celebrate. These accolades are a testament to our team’s unwavering dedication and our customers and consumers enduring support,” von Lieres said.
