In a recent interview with My.Na Properties, Helena Iyambo, a promising real estate agent, shed light on her journey in the industry and the agency she represents, Tega Properties.

As a part of the vibrant real estate landscape in Namibia, Tega Properties is rapidly gaining recognition for its commitment to exceptional service and a fresh approach to the market.

Established earlier this year, Tega Properties has quickly made its mark as a boutique agency that stands out from the crowd. With a strong focus on collaboration and a supportive atmosphere, the agency offers a refreshing departure from the traditional stiff environment often associated with seasoned agents.

According to Iyambo, "we are a very small boutique agency, which I love because we get to bounce ideas off each other and help each other. It’s not a stiff atmosphere where you find highly-seasoned agents that are too busy to guide you and help you navigate the realtor journey".

While Tega Properties is still building its reputation, the agency has already started gaining traction in the market. Iyambo, who is one of the agents based in Windhoek, emphasised the importance of establishing trust with clients.

"We are a fairly new agency. We were established earlier this year and we are still building that relationship of trust with clients."

Key factor

Despite being a new player in the industry, Tega Properties has been successful in securing listings and attracting clients. Iyambo expressed excitement about the agency's growth, stating: "The enterprise has been growing quite well, and it can be challenging at times, but I am excited and open to see what this industry has to offer".

The key differentiating factor for Tega Properties lies in its unwavering commitment to exceptional client service.

Iyambo highlighted the gap in the industry, particularly in the areas of communication and client support.

"I think the biggest gap that I have identified is that we are really lacking in our client service aspect. I have been in the position where I had to work with agents to secure property and we are very bad at communication and bad when it comes to client services."

Tega Properties aims to address this gap by prioritising effective communication and timely responses. Iyambo added: "I might not have all the answers, but I will rather try my best to communicate. People will always remember who treated them fair and just and kind, and that is how we are then able to build good relationships".

Ambitious plans

Looking ahead, Tega Properties has ambitious plans for growth and success in the real estate industry. The agency aims to become a recognised and trusted name, catering to a diverse range of property needs.

Iyambo highlighted her personal aspirations, stating: "Hopefully, if my plans go well, I would like to be a familiar face in the industry and a go-to person for whoever has property inquiries". Furthermore, she intends to foster relationships with developers and appeal to the younger demographic.

As Tega Properties continues to gain momentum, the agency's dedication to exceptional service and its commitment to filling the gaps in the real estate market position it as a rising star in Namibia. With their collaborative approach and a strong emphasis on client satisfaction, it is set to make a significant impact.
