O&L divests from Cleanergy project

The Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group of Companies announced its divestment from Cleanergy Solutions Namibia. H2Infra NV, a subsidiary of CMB.TECH, will become the sole shareholder of Cleanergy Solutions Namibia following the acquisition of the 51% shareholding currently held by the O&L Group.The transaction is pending regulatory approval by the Namibian Competition Commission. CMB.TECH is ideally positioned to steer Cleanergy into its next growth phase, bringing world-class expertise, innovation, and investment capacity to strengthen the company’s contribution to Namibia’s sustainable energy landscape.“As O&L, we are immensely proud of our role in co-founding Cleanergy and laying the cornerstone of Namibia’s green hydrogen future,” said Sven Thieme, Executive Chairman of the O&L Group. “This milestone reflects our purpose of creating a future where we enhance life and our commitment to pioneering industries that empower Namibia’s economy and enable sustainable, future-ready opportunities.”The establishment of Cleanergy Solutions Namibia marked a historic step in the country’s journey towards developing a green hydrogen economy.
