More than 100 people played in 30 teams at the Nictus Holdings Padel Day in Windhoek. The tournament raised funds for eight local charities working in education, healthcare, social development and animal welfare.

The beneficiaries are Huis Maerua, Netwerk, the Cancer Association of Namibia, Legacy of Love, Have-A-Heart, Lechem Foundation, One Economy Foundation and N/a'an ku sê.

Nictus Holdings operates Auas Motors, Nictus Furniture, Glasfit, Trentyre, Tiger Wheel & Tyre, AssistU, Hakos Capital & Finance, Corporate Guarantee, First Car Rental and Build it outlets in Walvis Bay and Rehoboth.

The annual tournament was organised with input from the Group's suppliers, many of whom have worked with Nictus Holdings for more than 50 years. A charity auction of more than 50 items donated by suppliers followed the matches.

Philippus Tromp, managing director of Nictus Holdings Limited, said: "This event brings us together and creates an opportunity to make a real difference for the charities we support. We are grateful to our suppliers for their partnership and generosity, and to everyone who gave their time and resources."
