More than N$100bn exported in 2023
Namibia earned N$105 billion in exports last year, N$2.6 billion or nearly 2.7% more than in 2022. Data released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) this morning, shows the country imported N$136.9 billion in total last year, an increase of N$7.9 billion compared to 2022. Diamonds were the most exported commodity last year, accounting for 23.9% of total exports. Uranium took the second position, contributing 13.8% of the total exports value. Photo Unsplash/Edgar Soto
