Letshego profit reaches N$253.5 million
Letshego Holdings Namibia reported a 2% increase in profit after tax to N$253.5 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, supported by a rise in operating profit.
Operating profit increased 3.3% to N$294.2 million from N$284.7 million in the same period last year, according to the company's unaudited interim results.
Headline earnings also rose 2% to N$253.5 million, while basic and diluted earnings per share increased to 51 cents from 50 cents.
Letshego said an interim dividend had been declared on 6 August for the period ended 30 June, subject to regulatory approval.
The amount of the interim dividend was not disclosed in the statement. The company said the relevant dates would be announced once regulatory approval had been obtained.
The group paid a dividend of N$270.7 million, equivalent to 54.14 cents per ordinary share, in April 2026.
