CST Expo brings together sport, entertainment, tourism, learning and more
The Creative, Sport and Tourism (CST) Expo brought Windhoek to life from 2 to 4 September, turning the Hage Geingob Stadium into a hub of sport, entertainment, tourism, culture and business. The three-day event provided a platform for exhibitors, creatives, sportspeople, entrepreneurs and members of the public under one roof.
Visitors could also explore food stalls, children’s activities and different sporting codes, while workshops gave industry players and the public a chance to learn and exchange ideas. The programme also featured e-sports, chess, volleyball, traditional games, a dance competition and bodybuilding.
Music was also a major part of the experience, with artists from Namibia and the broader region taking to the main stage. Zimbabwean singer Tamy Moyo performed on the second day, while Namibian star Gazza closed off the final night alongside South African DJ Oscar Mbo and Angolan artist Cleyton M.
The three-day programme included workshops covering creative industries, sport and tourism, reflecting the event’s aim of bringing the three sectors closer together.
