Bank Windhoek introduces new MD to the Bank of Namibia

James Chapman takes over as MD of Bank Windhoek from former MD, Baronice Hans.
Bank Windhoek’s board of directors this week officially introduced the lender's new MD James Chapman, to the Bank of Namibia (BoN) governor, Johannes !Gawaxab and central banking executives at the BoN’s headquarters in Windhoek.
During the engagement, !Gawaxab congratulated Bank Windhoek on decision-making, especially during challenging times such as fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. "Bank Windhoek is
always there to make timely decisions for the benefit of its customers during challenging times, and that is commendable," he said. He thanked former MD, Baronice Hans for steering the Bank successfully during a very challenging tenure.
Chapman said he is excited for the future and will continue to nurture Bank Windhoek's positive relationship with the Regulators.
