290 new erven for Elisenheim
Elisenheim Property Development Company Limited (EPDC), an investee company of Trustco, this week received the renewal of its environmental clearance certificate (ECC) for the continued development of Elisenheim Lifestyle Estate. This represents the fourth such approval granted for the project.
The renewed clearance enables EPDC to advance the planned Phase 4 expansion of the estate, which said it will introduce approximately 290 additional residential erven to the market. Phase 4 forms part of a long-term vision to develop Elisenheim into a fully integrated lifestyle community on the outskirts of Windhoek.
Le-Hugo van Rooyen, CEO of APxHouse Property Development Holdings, said the expansion reflected the long-term fundamentals of Windhoek’s property market.
“Elisenheim has become a blueprint for lifestyle estate development in Namibia. Each phase is built on the last, and Phase 4 will be no different—it reflects our confidence in the long-term fundamentals of Windhoek's residential market and our commitment to setting the standard, not following it,” van Rooyen said.
Since the acquisition of Farm Elisenheim in 2014, the development has evolved from open farmland into one of Namibia's most recognised residential estates, featuring established neighbourhoods, recreational amenities, and community infrastructure. The estate continues to attract homeowners, families, and investors seeking a secure, nature-integrated lifestyle in the capital.
