Woman takes own life by walking into sea

A woman from Walvis Bay walked into the sea at Independence Beach near the Wakuna settlement in Walvis Bay in the early hours of this morning and drowned. According to security staff from Rubicon Security Services who were stationed at the Independence gas station in the port town, they saw the woman who was naked walking towards the sea. They followed her with a taxi driver who had already followed her from the Tutaleni settlement. The police in Tutaleni were notified and at around 01:30 they followed the footprints that led from the road towards the sea. 25-year-old Fabiolla Zondjembo's body was found floating near the beach. She did not leave a suicide note.
