Restoration Concert 4.0 promises a night of worship and music

For one night, Windhoek's Dr Hage Geingob Stadium will become a meeting place for gospel music, prayer and collective celebration as Restoration Concert 4.0 returns on Saturday, 31 October, promising an experience that extends beyond the stage. The annual gospel and worship concert will bring together 17 artists, six choirs and nine special ministry guests for an evening that combines live performances with sermons, ministry sessions and moments of spiritual reflection.Organisers are positioning the event as more than a conventional concert: it is a gathering built around faith, music and a mission to support vulnerable children.Restoration Concert 4.0 is organised by Project Never Walk Alone, founded by Tim Ekandjo. Moreover, the Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) recently announced a sponsorship contribution of N$250 000 towards the event, adding institutional support to an initiative that connects entertainment with social responsibility. The concert's purpose is to raise funds to purchase brand-new shoes for underprivileged children across Namibia.By bringing local and regional artists together, Project Never Walk Alone aims to use the reach of gospel music to mobilise support for children whose needs can often go unnoticed. That mission gives the evening a significance beyond ticket sales and performances.Line-upAmong the evening's central attractions will be ministry sessions featuring Pastor Udochi Nwagbosso, Pastor Christoffer Chipeio, Pastor Sidney Boois, Pastor Stacey Susa-Pinto, Lady Diana Kimbuku, Apostle Jennifer Moetie, Pastor Clive Willemse, Pastor Winana and Bishop Henry Ndozi-Okia.Their participation adds a spiritual dimension to a programme that invites audiences to move between praise and worship, live gospel performances and messages of faith. For attendees, the combination promises an evening in which the concert experience is shaped as much by the spoken word and collective reflection as by the music. The concert will be hosted by Dr Nangula Mbako-Shishanda and Ivan Shishanda, who will serve as the official masters of ceremonies. The duo will guide audiences through what organisers describe as an unforgettable night of worship, music, celebration and restoration. The musical line-up brings together Namibian gospel talent and internationally recognised performers.Audiences can look forward to performances by Dee’A, Lisa, Jael MK, Minister Moses and Esme Songbird, among others.Their appearances will showcase the diversity of Namibia's gospel scene while giving homegrown performers a platform alongside established international names.International performers include South African gospel minister Benjamin Dube, Nigerian gospel singer Minister GUC and Zimbabwean gospel musician Minister Michael Mahendere. Their presence is expected to broaden the concert's musical reach, bringing different gospel traditions and audiences together under one roof. With six choirs also scheduled to perform, the programme promises a varied soundscape of individual performances, choral arrangements and congregational worship. The scale of the lineup makes the event an opportunity for audiences to experience gospel music as both a live entertainment spectacle and a shared expression of faith. Each edition presents an opportunity to turn a shared cultural and spiritual experience into practical assistance for children, making charitable giving an integral part of the concert's identity.Restoration Concert 4.0 takes place on Saturday, 31 October, at the Dr Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek. Tickets are available through Webtickets.
