Ondangwa hosts early Christmas for elders

Ondangwa town council, through the mayoral fund, hosted an early Christmas for senior citizens. The initiative, which cost over N$25 000, benefitted 70 elders, each of whom received a hamper containing basic household necessities. Town mayor, Paavo Amwele, said that the unemployed elders need assistance. "The elders have already played their part, and they need our assistance," Amwele said.
