Noa Admits To Sex Act But Says It Was Not Completed
Rape-accused Dennis Noa told the Ondangwa Magistrates’ Court on Friday that he had sexual intercourse with the complainant on 17 July 2026, but that the act was not completed.
"He didn't clean himself well, we had to open the window for ventilation," Noa told the court during his bail application.
Noa, who faces one count of sexual assault, denied drugging the complainant, saying the complainant himself requested for the medication.
State prosecutor Bernadine Bertolini put it to Denis that, as a medical doctor, he understood the effects of ashwagandha and diazepam, and that despite suffering from anxiety and high blood pressure himself, he allegedly still gave the substances to the complainant.
He responded that at home he is a private person, not a doctor.
On their relationship, Noa described the complainant as a friend with benefits, saying they communicated 122 times in 2 months and 10 days and he even paid for his taxi to come to his residence for a celebration where he bought 6 draught beers, vodka and food.
The matter before Magistrate Shantell-Antoinette Wanga-Harris was postponed to Monday for fixing of continuation of the cross-examination.
