NamWater donates N$367 884 in stationery to 14 schools

NamWater, in collaboration with the Kavango East regional leadership, on Monday donated stationery supplies valued at N$367 884 to 14 schools in the region.The contribution is set to alleviate resource shortages, creating a more conducive learning environment for both students and educators.Kavango East Governor Bonifatius Wakudumo expressed his gratitude to NamWater, calling the donation a testament to the company&#039;s commitment to corporate social responsibility and the development of the country."NamWater’s dedication to supporting Namibia’s Vision 2030 is commendable. This investment not only aids individual learners but also contributes significantly to the broader national goals outlined in the Harambee Prosperity Plan II and the National Development Goals. Regions like Kavango West and Kunene face similar challenges, and rural areas, where poverty is at 59.3%, are particularly affected. This impacts families and, most importantly, the education of our children," Nehemia said."Investing in education is investing in future leaders, innovators and professionals who will drive Namibia’s development.
