Kavango West prioritises diplomacy, etiquette for officials

Officials and representatives from across Kavango West gathered in Nkurenkuru yesterday for a protocol training workshop organised by the governor's office in partnership with the international relations ministry.
Nkurenkuru mayor Jafet Muti highlighted the importance of diplomacy, etiquette and professionalism. “Nkurenkuru is young, yet it carries the responsibility of being the seat of governance for the region. This training will sharpen your skills and benefit the constituencies and institutions you represent,” he said.
Kavango West governor Verna Sinimbo said the workshop is crucial for building credibility and respect in local and international engagements. She urged participants to embrace the principles of courtesy, cultural sensitivity and ethical conduct.
The workshop is part of the region’s efforts to strengthen professionalism and ensure that officials are equipped to represent Kavango West effectively on both national and global platforms.
