Karibib murder raises community safety fears

Community members and learners from Karibib Junior Secondary School submitted a petition to the mayor’s office yesterday over safety concerns following the murder of 17-year-old Antonio Angelo Xamseb over the weekend.
According to Erongo police, the body of the Grade 10 learner was discovered around 06:00 on Saturday by a security guard en route to work. Xamseb had sustained two stab wounds to the back, believed to have been inflicted with a sharp object. His cell phone was missing from the scene.
