JUST IN: Bricks donated for palace

The Ondangwa Town Council today donated 6 000 bricks with the total value of N$20 000 to the Ondonga Traditional Authority.

The town's mayor, Paavo Amwele, said the donation follows after the king of Ondonga gave a piece of his land where a palace will be constructed, explaining the next king will not have to construct a new palace.

Amwele added that it will not be the last time they will be assisting the construction of the palace.

"We will still look at what the palace needs and we will provide more assistance," he said.
