In a wave of musical excitement, Namibian singer Ian Lovly today finally released the music video for his latest single, 'Tatted Up'.

The track - which has been teased on social media for months - is the first release from his forthcoming EP, 'I Would Date Me', scheduled for Friday, 1 December.

The music video, an aesthetic feast for the senses, was brought to life by the talented crew at Spectrum Media. Featuring captivating visuals and an electrifying storyline, it showcases the seamless fusion of vision and sound.

Moreover, fans will be thrilled to know that the video boasts a star-studded line-up, including local personalities and a special cameo from South African social media sensation Robot Boii.

Dream come true

During an exclusive interview with tjil, Ian Lovly could not contain his enthusiasm about the 'Tatted Up' video.

"It's a dream come true," he beamed. "Spectrum Media really outdid themselves, and it's all about showcasing the vibrant essence of Namibian culture."

On working with Yeezir, he emphasised the importance of artists coming together to create something extraordinary.

"Yeezir and I share the same passion for music," he said, adding that collaborations are crucial for the growth of the industry. Ian Lovly was featured on Yeezir’s debut album, ‘21’, released last month, making 'Tatted Up' their second official collaboration.

As the release date for his debut EP fast approaches, the singer said this new video is just a glimpse of the mesmerising world he is inviting us to explore.

“The EP will be followed up with an album in 2024. I'm excited to share with the world the music I've been working on,” he said.
