Dausab returns to Unam as executive dean

Former justice minister Yvonne Dausab has returned to the University of Namibia (Unam) as executive dean for the faculty of law and economics, and management sciences.Dausab previously served as deputy dean of the university’s law faculty before leaving in 2015 to become chairperson of the Law Reform and Development Commission (LRDC).
In March 2020, she was appointed minister of justice, replacing the incarcerated Sacky Shanghala.
A trained lawyer, Dausab exited cabinet in March 2025 after not making the Swapo list of parliamentarians the previous year.
