GOING GREEN: Last Saturday, the City of Windhoek's Mayoral Clean-Up Campaign brought together residents, community leaders and volunteers to clean up Babylon, Kilimanjaro and surrounding areas.

Windhoek mayor Sakarias Uunona said the platform has grown beyond a clean-up exercise and has become an important avenue for engagement, allowing the city to interact directly with residents, listen to their concerns and work collaboratively towards solutions.

He thanked all participants and said that together they are building a cleaner Windhoek for all, under the campaign slogan 'Go Green, Skip the Plastic'.
