Teens nabbed with drugs worth N$120 900 in Usakos
Two teenagers were arrested in Usakos on Saturday after police on patrol allegedly found them with almost 2 kg of suspected cannabis and 200 suspected mandrax tablets worth N$120 900.
Alfons Hoabeb (18) and a 17-year-old, who cannot be named because he is a minor, were stopped at the traffic circle in the town at around 14:00.
According to Erongo police spokesperson Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula, officers on patrol became suspicious of the pair and approached them. When the officers searched them, the two allegedly dropped a bag containing suspected cannabis and the mandrax tablets.
