Ongwediva family gets help to replace burnt property
Ongwediva Mayor Naemi Amuthenu handed over building materials valued at N$20 000 to families whose homes were destroyed by fire on 21 March 2026. The donation, handed over yesterday, includes cement, poles, corrugated iron sheets, a door, a shading net, and more, provided through the Ongwediva Town Council's Mayoral Fund. The Fund exists to support residents affected by unforeseen disasters like fires and floods.
“Rebuild your homes, and where you can, let’s hustle and support each other,” the mayor urged the beneficiaries.
